- Detouring back and forth through his bodies of work, Christopher Haugen's SUBJECT MATTER encompasses the Human Vessel and Society, Inner Struggles and the Apocalypse, as well as Cityscapes and the Still Life. His creations convey and provoke Raw Emotions from Sensuality and Thrill, Indulgence and Consequence to Angst, Rage and Despair... transcending to Faith, Hope, Tranquility and Unconditional Love. Oh - - and sometimes it's just nice to look at and enjoy. Chris is an artist who creates in different MEDIUMS ranging from Oils, Acrylics, Pen & Ink and Multi-Medium containing objects fused into some of his original pieces. His STYLES incorporate bold, rich colors and textures, that encompass Impressionism, Expressionism, Abstract and Surrealism.
